Tucked
behind an historic home in downtown Charleston, Bob and
Gwen Lowe have created a backyard paradise. Their
1900 gallon pond sits adjacent to the formal swimming pool
and Brigg's style garden. The pond is built from liner and
flagstone construction with a 4 foot waterfall as well as
a cordoned plant pond that occasionally houses their fry.
Filtration includes an Aquabead filter, Savio skimmer, 3/4
hp Artesian Pump. They have additional filter media in the
upper pond to remove particulates and a 40-watt UV light
to remove algae..
