This is a pristine, 17,000 gallon koi pond. At 5 feet deep
it is constructed for easy viewing from the surrounding
covered patio. Filtration includes two 2600 gallon
settling chambers, 57 cubic feet of fluidized,
aerated media, a 50 cubic foot trickle tower, and two
40-watt UV filters. It is controlled by three Dolphin 3600
super Amp Masters and a 3/4 hp Dragon.
Since
the owners are koi breeders, the amount of koi in this
pond varies season to season. Other tanks on the
property contain many more koi.
